In this section, we will get one step closer to our final project: creating our own City Tour.
First, you will choose 5 interesting places from your town or neighbourhood. They can be parks, museums, sports centres, monuments, squares, schools or any special local landmark you like.
Then, you will learn how to describe each place in simple English: its name, what type of place it is, where it is located and why you think it is interesting. This will help you prepare the information for your final digital route.
After that, we will practise using Google Maps to search for places and get directions. You will also learn how to take screenshots of the map, the place, and the route. For example, you will look for your favourite café and capture how to get there.
