Chapter 6 – Following the route to the museum
Leo continues showing the map to his mum. She wants to understand how to follow the route to the museum.

— Look, Mum. You can also choose how to travel.

— What do you mean?

Leo shows the icons at the top of the screen.

— You can go by car, by bus, by bike, or by walking.

His mum looks at the options.

— We will go by car.

Leo taps the car icon.

— Now look at the route.

A blue line appears on the map.

— This is the route to the museum.
— Oh, I see the line!

Leo points at the beginning of the route.

— We start here, at our house.
— That is our starting point.

His mum looks at the screen again.

— And where is the museum?

Leo points at the red pin.

— The museum is here. That is the destination.

His mum reads the information on the phone.

— It says 10 minutes.
— Yes! That is the travel time.

She continues reading.

— It also says 3 kilometres.

Leo nods.

— That is the distance.

His mum zooms in on the map.

— What do we do first?

Leo reads the directions.

— First, go straight on Green Street.
— Okay.

Leo continues.

— Then turn right at the park.
— Turn right at the park.

Leo moves his finger on the screen.

— Next, go straight for two blocks.
— Go straight…

Leo smiles.

— Finally, the museum is on the left.

His mum smiles too.

— This is easy!

Max hears the word “park” and runs to the door.

— Woof! Woof!

Leo laughs.

— Max wants to come with us!

His mum picks up the keys.

— Maybe after the museum, we can go to the park.

Leo closes the phone.

— Great! Now we know the route.

Max barks happily.
